Religion
This year the children will be receiving the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.
Reading

Science
We will be studying plant and animal life.
Social Studies
	We will be exploring map study while focusing on the world's land formations and water.
Math
In September our focus is addition and subtraction to 18 and fact famiies.
Homework
	Homework is a very important part of your child’s education for a few reasons: The daily homework let’s you know what was done in class. The way in which your child completes the homework indicates how well he or she understood the day’s lessons. Doing homework with your child is a positive reinforcement of the hours spent in school. Try to provide a distraction free, quiet area in which you and your child can work. Homework should be a time that you set aside to spend with your child.
