SCIENCE- -

SEVENTH AND EIGHTH GRADE

Welcome Back!!!

I hope you are enjoying what is left of the summer!

Below is a wish list for the Science Lab and the classroom.  If anyone could donate one or more of the following items then, please bring it to school on the 8th of September or anytime during the year.  I truly appreciate your assistance as the school year progresses we run out of the supplies that I purchase and do not get to replenish them quickly due to other events happening that would detain me from purchasing them.

  • Science Lab – is in need for a few more, clear 18 gallon totes, for materials to be stored.  Last year, Mrs. Kostic donated a few and I need a few more.  Thank you Mrs. Kostic!
  • Scotch tape
  • Masking tape
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Glue
  • White out (tape) – this I always run out of by December – the students use this quite a bit especially when they do not have one of their own.
  • If you have any extra scissors around the house that you do not need – I could use them for projects with the students – they should be safety scissors
  • Every year I purchase 2 boxes of pens (60 count) and by May I have no more to lend to the students because they forget to return them.  Some of them are very good at returning what they borrowed but there are still many that forget.  So, if you could spare sending in pens (blue or black ink) that would be wonderful!

I would like to thank all those parents who donated last year!  I would also like to thank the parents who will contribute this year what they can.

I look forward to a wonderful school year with each and every one of you!  Get ready to explore new things in the world of science!

Enjoy the rest of the vacation!

Mrs. Busse

WELCOME TO A GREAT YEAR OF SCIENCE

The textbooks are new books that were purchased through donations.  The book sox’s are not big enough for these books so we ask that you cover the Life Science or Earth Science textbook with brown paper (if you can not find the larger book sox). Thank you for your cooperation.  These books are almost $75.00 so please treat them well. Any books that are damaged will have to be paid for in order to purchase new ones.
