Welcome to Kindergarten with Mrs. Beloten

September

Hello and welcome to Kindergarten! I hope that everyone had a great summer. I've been looking forward to this day all summer.

Please click on the link below to access the supply list for the Kindergarten class - 2010:

Kindergarten Supply List 2010

This year the children will learn a lot and have fun at the same time. In religion they will learn that they are special gifts from God. They will also learn that everyone is special and should be treated with respect.

In language we will use letterbooks for each letter. In each book they will the sounds and how to write each letter. The books will also help with their listening skills. The first books will be C,O, and G. In math we will begin with patterns, positions and shapes.

In scienc we will learn about apples and the season of fall.

A very important part of kindergarten is social skills. The children will learn how to share and get along with others. We will be spending a lot time getting used to each other and the classroom routines.

I would appreciate it if you would write your child's name on all their supplies especially their sweatshirts. This way their supplies do not get mixed up.

At the first Parent/Teacher meeting I will explain what they will learn and my expectations in greater detail. I look forward to seeing you at this meeting.

I know that we will have a wonderful year together.
