PLEASE NOTE THIS CHANGE FOR SPEECHES FOR ALL 7TH AND 8TH GRADERS---------------

Everyone must have a speech approved by FRIDAY, OCTOBER 8TH!!!   It must be from 3 - 6 minutes and previously delivered by a famous person.  YOU MAY NOT DO A MONOLOGUE!!  You may not recite the same speech as you did last year!!  The earlier I approve the speech, the sooner you can start to memorize it.  I strongly advise that you do not wait until the last day to have something approved!! You will be reciting your speech in front of the class the week of November 8th.  The competition to see who will represent St. Andrew's in the Diocesan Oratorical will take place either the Monday or Tuesday before Thanksgiving recess.

We had to make this change because the Diocesan Office changed the date for the Diocesan competition.  We must submit a name to their office by December 3rd.

Failure to have a speech approved will result in you not being able to recite and receiving a 0/100!!!   Absence on the due date will not be accepted as an excuse since you've had ample notice!!
