On a Personal Note

*Research over the last 10 years has suggested that giving your time and energy by volunteering can give you a different perspective about life.  It will help you feel as though you have a place and purpose in this world. It has also been found that volunteering has been shown to reduce stress, reduce social isolation, build self esteem, and follow in the footsteps of Jesus.  Those on the receiving end are receiving the gift of time, and love.If you are interested in finding more joy in your life, think about  what you feel passionate about and begin to look at volunteering opportunities.

Class 7-1 is giving back to the community by volunteering and giving their gifts of time and love.

Dedicated to all student volunteers

Cooperative Spirits

Children volunteering for community service set a good example

for others and help to strengthen the community.

In helping others they acquire a sense of pride, self-worth, commitment,

and fulfillment that is inmeasurable. Volunteering is an

excellent addition to the student's core curriculum and creates valuable

members of society who contribute to the community.

And it is a building block for the work ethic.

The bond between student and teacher relationship is strengthened. And group work

emulates common values while healing the soul and bringing

forth physical health.

The students learn what sacrifice means

and acquire strength of character, looking outside themselves

to see the importance of compsasion, kindness, and charity.

Let's Pray

Dear God, thank You for the good things You do for
us each and every day. May we always put our trust
in You and in Your ability to do what You say You will do.
Let us remember that nothing takes You by surprise
because You know all things and are in all places.
In Jesus' Name. Amen.

PS. My doggie thanks You too!

God bless
